The Summer Edition of Tides & Time Has Arrived 🌊

May 2026

A Note from Marsha

There’s something magical about summer on the East Coast.

The windows stay open. Hydrangeas begin to bloom. Fresh strawberries find their way onto the kitchen counter. Meals move outdoors, evenings stretch a little longer, and somehow life feels just a bit slower.

Those moments inspired this season's issue of Tides & Time: Where the Sea Meets Home.

Over the past few months, I've been quietly gathering stories, recipes, images, and reflections that celebrate the beauty of home and the rhythm of the season.

Today, I’m so excited to finally share the Summer Issue of Tides & Time with you.

Inside this issue you'll discover:

Beautiful coastal home inspiration that inspire warmth, comfort, and timeless style.

A walk through the garden as hydrangeas bloom, vegetables ripen, and summer unfolds one morning at a time.

Seasonal recipes including traditional Nova Scotia fare from traditional East Coast Kitchens.

Books for slow afternoons that encourage reflection, growth, and rest.

Journal prompts and reflections to help you savour the season instead of rushing through it.

Simple pleasures that remind us the best parts of summer are often the ordinary moments we almost overlook.

This magazine has become much more than a collection of beautiful photos.

It's an invitation.

To slow down.

To notice.

To open the windows.

To set the table.

To walk barefoot through the garden.

To gather the people you love.

And to remember that home isn't something we're constantly chasing; it's something we're creating every single day.

Whether you live by the ocean or simply dream of coastal life, I hope these pages inspire you to bring a little more beauty, intention, and peace into your own home this season.

The Summer Edition of Tides & Time: Where the Sea Meets Home is now available, and I'd be honoured if you spent an afternoon with it.

If you take a read, I’d truly love to hear what resonates with you. This magazine was created with you in mind, and your thoughts, reflections, and ideas help shape what it can become.

Thank you for being part of this little community. Your support, encouragement, and shared love of home mean more than you know.

Until the autumn leaves begin to turn,
Marsha

Last week, we began working our way through The Thoughtfully Designed Business™ Method, starting with the first pillar: Design the Foundation. This week, we're moving into the second: Design the Experience And this is one I think interior designers understand instinctively. We spend so much time thinking about how a room will feel. A weekly blueprint for interior designers who want to build a business as thoughtfully designed as the homes they create. a note from my desk.... The Business Terms I Hear Used Interchangeably (But They're Not) One of the things I love about working with interior designers is that they genuinely want to improve their businesses. They know they need better systems. Or maybe it's workflows. Or perhaps they need to document their processes. 🧐 The funny thing is... Almost every designer uses...
