Happy Q2! Let’s Talk Growth, Leadership & Money

Helping Design Professionals Streamline, Simplify & Succeed

Hey Lovely!

Happy Q2! I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend for those who celebrate.

April always feels like a whirlwind over here; tax season, planning for Q2, reflecting on how Q1 went, and the “empty nest” suddenly not feeling so empty with university kids back home (and somehow… bringing everything with them 😅). Add in summer job planning, and it’s a full season.

But as one of my clients; who I’ve had the pleasure of being a wingwoman for over the past 10 months; likes to say:
“All good problems.”

And she’s right.

Before we dive in, I just want to pause and say thank you.

I started Q1 by walking away from my corporate job of the past four years; that “safe” thing that didn’t feel so safe anymore. And wow… letting go of that false sense of security has been incredibly freeing.

I planned conservatively for Q1… and you all blew that out of the water.

So truly, thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being part of this community.

I also had the opportunity to be a guest on three podcasts in Q1, which was such a fun experience. If you tuned in, I’d love to know what resonated most with you!

Alright… let’s get into it.

Tips, Tools & Takeaways for Designers

3 Tips for Q2

Don’t skip the reflection phase Before charging ahead, take a real look at Q1. What worked? What felt heavy? What actually moved the needle? Double down on what’s working and give yourself permission to release what’s not.

Simplify before you scale If your systems feel messy, adding more clients or projects won’t fix that; it amplifies it. Clean up your workflows now so growth feels like ease, not chaos.

Protect your energy like it’s part of your business plan Because it is. Your creativity, your leadership, your client experience; all of it depends on how you’re showing up. Build your calendar accordingly.

2 live webinars coming to you.

Both sessions will be casual, conversational, and interactive and yes, we’ll absolutely open it up for your questions.

They are completely free, and I can’t wait to have you there.

Keep an eye out for registration details coming soon 👀
