Your Q2 Plan Starts Here (Keep It Simple)

Helping Design Professionals Streamline, Simplify & Succeed

Hey Lovely!

I cannot believe we are closing in on the first quarter for 2026!

The end of a quarter is always an invitation to pause.

To look back before we leap forward.

And if there’s one thing I want you to carry into Q2, it’s this:

No action is too small.

Fifteen minutes a day may not feel like much but compared to zero minutes, it’s seismic.

It’s one small step that moves you closer to that future version of your business… and yourself.

You don’t need a full overhaul.
You just need to begin.

Tips, Tools & Takeaways for Designers

3 Tips for Moving Into Q2

  1. Start Small (and Start Now)

If there’s something you’ve been meaning to tackle; learning a tool, refining a process, organizing your backend, commit to just 15 minutes a day. Momentum builds quietly. Consistency is what changes everything.

2. Simplify Your Systems

Big goals become doable when you break them down. Instead of trying to “fix everything,” choose one piece of the puzzle.

For example: If you don’t have a clear client qualification process, start there.

Keep it simple: A form on your website A scheduling link for calls A few intentional questions

That’s it.

You don’t need complicated. You need functional and aligned with you.

3. Do the Hard Thing First

We all have that one task we avoid.

Do it anyway. Then reward yourself.

Try this: 45 minutes focused work (hello, Pomodoro) Followed by 15 minutes of something you love.

A walk. A chai latte. A piece of chocolate hidden in your desk drawer.

Pairing effort with reward makes the hard things lighter.

2 Resources to Check Out

📌 1. The Pomodoro Method

Work in focused sprints (I love 45 minutes) followed by intentional breaks.

It helps you:

  • Stay focused
  • Reduce overwhelm
  • Actually finish what you start

📌 Your Quarterly Planning Rhythm

Instead of setting yearly goals that lose momentum, plan in 90-day cycles.

Ask yourself:

  • What matters most this quarter?
  • Where will I focus my energy?
  • What does “done” look like in 3 months?

Motivation naturally ebbs—this keeps you aligned and moving.

1 Question for You

🤔 Ask yourself What is one small action I can take this week that my future self will thank me for? Hit reply and let me know. I’d love to offer support! Or send me a question and I'll answer it in next week's newsletter!

Want More Support?

There’s another layer to all of this beyond systems and strategy.

It’s the vision.

The business you dream of.
The way you want your days to feel.
The balance you’re craving.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside incredible women as they build businesses that reflect who they truly are.

Not just as designers but as business owners.

Watching them step into that next version of themselves
with clarity, confidence, and a life that actually feels good to live.

It’s the most rewarding part of what I do.

And it’s absolutely available to you, too. Book a free strategy call with me here.

Here’s to more ease, balance, and joy in your business and life! 💛

Warmly,
Marsha
