Introducing Tides & Times

February 2026

A Note from Marsha

Welcome to the Thoughtful Home

This Family Day long weekend feels like the perfect moment to share something new with you. I’m so pleased to introduce the very first issue of Tides & Times, a small digital magazine created from my love of home, the seaside, and the quiet beauty of everyday living.

I created it as a slower, more thoughtful space. A place where home isn’t about trends or urgency, but about mood, memory, and meaning. Inside you’ll find gentle inspiration, reflections on living well at home, and the kinds of ideas you can return to with a cup of tea on a quiet morning.

This is just the beginning. My hope is for Tides and Times to grow into a collaborative space with 4 seasonal issue. With each issue, I’ll be inviting other creatives; writers, artists, designers, and makers to contribute and share their perspective on thoughtful living.

For now, I’m simply happy to share it with you. Thank you for being here and for being part of this community that values home as sanctuary.

If you take a read, I’d truly love to hear what resonates with you. This magazine was created with you in mind, and your thoughts, reflections, and ideas help shape what it can become.

Feel free to reply and share what you enjoyed, what you’d love to see more of, or simply how it made you feel. Your feedback is always welcome here.

From my home to yours,
Marsha

Design Clarity Weekly Helping Design Professionals Streamline, Simplify & Succeed Hi friends, Since it’s Friday, I'm sharing something new this week called Financial Fridays; a simple way to bring more clarity to the financial side of your design business. And the timing couldn’t be better. We’re closing in on the end of the third quarter, and for many designers it’s also tax season; that time of year when we finally sit down with our numbers and try to make sense of what the year has looked...

Design Clarity Weekly Helping Design Professionals Streamline, Simplify & Succeed Ladies, it's time to be radical. What does radical mean to you? I’ll admit; it’s not a word I hear often. The first thing that came to mind was those cheesy 1980s movies where everything was “radical.” But recently the word has come up a few times in conversations, podcasts, and business discussions. If you’ve ever had a contractor ghost you mid-project… Or an installer rush a job that deserved more care… You know exactly what I mean. The truth? Great trades are one of the most valuable assets in your business and the designers who build strong trade relationships create smoother projects, happier clients,...
